We grew up learning from the same remarkable tutor. He was patient, kind, and invested in our success. When we started Evolve, we had one goal: make that experience available to every family.
We study math and computer science at the University of Toronto, and we built Evolve around the subjects we know best. Every tutor we bring on shares that same approach, and we aim to make quality learning more accessible to families across Ontario.

How the free first session works
Step 1·Send a request
Share your child’s grade, subject, and what they need help with.
Step 2·We follow up
We’ll call or email to confirm availability and needs. We respond within a couple of hours.
Step 3·We match the tutor
We choose a tutor based on the subject, grade level, learning needs, and schedule.
Step 4·Try the first session
Your child meets their tutor online for their first lesson.
Step 5·Receive a personalized plan
After the free session, we share a tailored roadmap with goals, focus areas, and priorities for the next six sessions.

My experience with evolve has been super easy and smooth. They got in touch within a day and we were able to hash out exactly what it is my child needs from the tutoring. My daughter needed help with grade 11 math and they started with a free hour long lesson which was nice. My daughter loved her assigned tutor Evelyn. She even said herself that Evelyn explained the concepts more clearly than her day school teacher does and that she is much more prepared for her upcoming exams.

Is the first session really free?
Yes. Your first session is free with no credit card required. Try us out before you buy tutoring hours.
How do tutoring hours work?
Buy a prepaid tutoring hour package and use the hours whenever you need them, for any subject or any of your children. Tutoring hours never expire.
Can I use tutoring hours for multiple children?
Yes. Tutoring hours work for any of your children within the chosen grade band (Middle School, Grades 6-8, or High School, Grades 9-12), for any subject. Perfect for families with multiple students.
Do I need to commit to a schedule?
Tutoring works best as a weekly routine, so we take on students who can meet at least once a week. There's no contract, you can pause or stop anytime, and unused hours never expire.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel up to 6 hours before your session. No fees.
Do you follow the Ontario curriculum?
Yes. Our tutoring follows what Ontario students learn from Grades 6 to 12, from middle school math and science to senior courses like functions, calculus, biology, chemistry, and physics.
